The Department of Physics organised a three-day National Workshop on “Advances in Cold Plasma Science & Technology”, sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) from 9th to 11th September 2026. Dr. R. Jayaprakash, Principal, delivered the Welcome Address. Dr. K. Kandappan, Secretary, delivered the Presidential Address. Dr. R. Bharathikannan, Head, Department of Physics, presented the Dynamics of the Workshop. The Inaugural Address was delivered by Dr. P. V. A. Padmanabhan, Former Outstanding Scientist, BARC, Mumbai. Totally 120 students participated.
