DDU Kaushals
The Department of Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) was established during the academic year 2015–2016 with the aim of providing industry-oriented and skill-based education that effectively bridges the gap between academic learning and industrial requirements. The programme is offered under the UGC-sponsored DDU–Kaushal Kendra scheme and is affiliated with Bharathiar University. The department follows the innovative “Earn While Learn” system, which helps students become self-reliant, financially independent, and professionally competent. In addition to academic qualifications, students gain " nearly Two years of industrial experience" by the time they complete the programme. The curriculum includes subjects related to current and emerging technologies, enabling students to acquire practical knowledge, hands-on training, and professional skills. The programme also provides excellent career opportunities through strong industry collaboration and "100% placement" for all students.
