Republic Day Celebration January 26, 2026
Republic Day was celebrated at Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science on 26.01.2026. The national flag was hoisted by Swami Harinathananda Maharaj, In-charge of the Self-Financing Wing.
Independence Day Celebration August 15, 2025
Independence Day was celebrated at Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science on 15.08.2025. The national flag was hoisted by Swami Harinathananda Maharaj, In-charge of the Self-Financing Wing. Students represented the college and actively participated in the march past during the Vidyalaya Independence Day celebrations, which were held at the Maruthi College ground.
College Day Celebrations March 20, 2025
The College Day Celebrations for the academic year 2024-25 was celebrated on 20.03.2025 at Vidyalaya Venkatakrishnan Indoor Stadium. The function began with prayer song. Sri A. Aadhi, Chairman, Students Union welcomed the gathering. Swami Sahanananda, Treasurer, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, presided over the function. Dr. K. Kandappan, Secretary of the College delivered the felicitation address on the occasion. Dr. Kavidasan, Director, Roots Industries India Limited, Coimbatore and Secretary, Satchidananda Jothi Niketan Int. School, Mettupalayam, served as the Chief Guest of the day and delivered the College Day address. In that, he highlighted the important moral values among the student’s community should acquire during College days. The College honored the professors retiring this academic year on the occasion. The faculty members for receiving doctorate degree and funds for organizing conferences, best outgoing students and best sports achievers were honoured by the chief guest, Secretary and Principal on the occasion. The Magazine of the academic year 2024-25 of the College was released by Swami Sahanananda, Treasurer, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya and received by the dignitaries. Then, Dr. A. Muthusamy, Principal of the College presented a detailed annual report of the academic year 2024-25. Finally, the cultural programmes performed by our students were appreciated by all. Sri S. Madhan, Secretary, Students Union proposed a formal Vote of thanks. All the students, faculty members and Heads of the Department of the College attended the programme. The function concluded with the National Anthem.
