ஸ்ரீராமகிருஷ்ண மிஷன் வித்யாலய கலை அறிவியல் கல்லூரி முதலாமாண்டு 170 மாணவர்கள் 17.07.2026 வெள்ளிக்கிழமையன்று, கோயம்புத்தூர் வடக்கு மண்டலம் பெரியநாயக்கன்பாளையம் வழி பாலமலை அரங்கநாதர் திருக்கோயில் மலையேற்றப்பாதை கோவில்சுற்றுப்புறம் பள்ளி வளாகம் உள்ளிட்ட இடங்களில் தூய்மைப் பணிகளை மேற்கொண்டனர். இதில் 30 மூட்டை பிளாஸ்டிக் மற்றும் 5 மூட்டை மதுபான கண்ணாடிக் குடுவைகள் சேகரித்து பெரியநாயக்கன்பாளையம் வனச்சரகத்திடம் ஒப்படைத்தனர். மாணவர்களுக்கு நெகிழி குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வும், வன வளம், வன உயிரி பாதுகாப்பு குறித்தும் மாணவர்களுக்கு எடுத்துரைக்கப்பட்டது.

Nasha Mukt Yuva – August 02, 2026
Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore, organized the "Nasha Mukt Yuva – Gen-Z Against Addiction" programme under the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan on 02.08.2026. The initiative, launched by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, was inaugurated nationally through a live interaction. The programme commenced with a Wheelathon and Walkathon, followed by Bhajan and Meditation. Sri M. Kanagasabapathy, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Periyanaickenpalayam Sub-Division, Coimbatore, delivered a Drug Awareness Speech highlighting the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of leading a healthy and disciplined life. The event also featured a Youth Icon Speech, Anti-Drug Awareness Videos and a live interaction. Participants took the Drug Awareness Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to building a drug-free society.


Swami Vivekananda Study Circle – Week 07
The Week 07 programme of the Swami Vivekananda Study Circle was held on 08.09.2026 in the Unaided Wing. 🙏 The programme commenced with a prayer. Following this, Swami Harinathananda of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya delivered an inspiring talk on “Swami Vivekananda thoughts” . 👥 A total of 31 students actively participated in the programme and benefited from the enlightening session. 🌟 The programme was coordinated by Dr. D. Rajakumar and Dr. S. Ganesan, Coordinators of the Swami Vivekananda Study Circle.

Swami Vivekananda Study Circle – Week 01
The Week 01 programme of the Swami Vivekananda Study Circle was held on 20.07.2026 in the Unaided Wing. The programme commenced with a prayer, followed by an inspiring talk by Swami Harinathananda of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya on “Swami Vivekananda’s Historic Chicago Speech and Its Relevance to Youth.” The session highlighted the significance of Swami Vivekananda’s address at the Parliament of the World's Religions in Chicago and its enduring message of universal brotherhood, harmony and service to humanity. A total of 46 students actively participated.


Swami Vivekananda Study Circle – Inaugurated Function
The Swami Vivekananda Study Circle of Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, was inaugurated on 14 July 2026 at the Multipurpose Hall. The programme commenced with the Thirumooovar Mantra, followed by the recitation of Swamiji's Swadesh Mantra by S. Naveensundar (II B.Com PA). Dr. R. Jayaprakash, Principal (i/c), welcomed the gathering, while Dr. K. Kandappan, Secretary, Swami Bhaktivratananda Maharaj, Swami Harinathananda Maharaj and Dr. R. Sridhar, Director, delivered inspiring addresses. A total of 62 students participated enthusiastically.

The Value Education (Common Prayer) Programme was conducted on 11.09.2026 at the Multi-Purpose Hall (Unaided Wing) for the students of I, II, III B.Sc. AI & ML. 🎓 The session was delivered by Dr. R. Moorthy, Assistant Professor, Department of Tamil, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science, who delivered an enlightening discourse on the topic, “Awareness on Tamil Language and Thirukkural” . 📚 In his speech, he clearly elucidated the various aspects of the Tamil language and its origins, the cultural elements of the Tamil people, glory of Tamil literature, inscriptions, and archaeology, the language struggle, its status as a classical language, and modern Tamil and the essence of the Thirukkural in everyday life. 🌱 He emphasized the students to take the Tamil language and literature to the forthcoming generations.

The Value Education (Common Prayer) Programme was conducted on 21.08.2026 at the Multi-Purpose Hall (Unaided Wing) for the students of I & II B.Com. and B.Com. PA. The session was delivered by Swami Karunikananda Maharaj , Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, who delivered an enlightening discourse on the topic “Good Qualities.” 🌟💡 In his address, Swamiji clearly explained the importance of cultivating good qualities and achieving meaningful goals in life. 🎯 He encouraged students to set a clear goal in life, drawing inspiration from the determination and success of Usain Bolt, and to build strong character by following the example of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. 📚✨ He also highlighted the strength and achievements of women, sharing inspiring lessons from the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. 🙏📱 To make the session practical and engaging, Swamiji instructed the students to open WhatsApp and participate in a simple activity by typing their good qualities, the name of a role model, their life goal, and the thing they like most. 📝💭 The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to Swami Karunikananda Maharaj and the management for organizing the inspiring and meaningful session.

Computer Science. 🎓 The session was delivered by Dr. P. Rajavel, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science, who delivered an enlightening discourse on the topic, “Indian Independence is Magnificent.” 🇮🇳🌟 In his address, he clearly explained the various struggles and sacrifices of Indian freedom fighters and national leaders, including Swami Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi, Tiruppur Kumaran, Bhagat Singh, and Dr. A.P.J. The Sarada Noon Meal Scheme, an initiative of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Management, has been providing nutritious meals to economically underprivileged students. To ensure a more hygienic and comfortable dining experience, the meal service has been shifted to a new facility. The SaradaMa Noon Meal Service commenced on 01-07-2026 at our SF Campus in the presence of Swami Harinathananda Maharaj, Director, along with all the Heads of the Departments.

வித்யார்த்தி என்ற சமஸ்கிருத சொல்லுக்கு மாணவன் என்று பொருள். வித்யார்த்தி ஹோமம் என்றால், கல்வி கற்கும் மாணவன் உடல் நலன், ஆர்வத்துடன் முறையாக படித்தல், உண்மையை கடைப்பிடித்தல், தயை மற்றும் தன்னலமற்ற குணங்களை கடைப்பிடித்தல், மேன்மைமிக்க குடிமகனாக ஆதல் என்ற ஐந்து உறுதிமொழிகளைப் பின்பற்ற சங்கல்பம் எடுத்துக் கொள்வதற்காக செய்யும் ஹோமம் ஆகும். வித்யார்த்தி ஹோமத்தின் தொடர்ச்சியாக 23-07-2026 அன்று கலை அறிவியல் கல்லூரி (Aided & SF), DDU Kaushal Kendra மாணவர்களுக்கு நடத்தப்பட்ட ஹோமத்தில் சுமார் 400 பேர் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

The Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Coimbatore, organized a Census 2027 Awareness Programme on Self Enumeration on 17 July 2026 at the Seminar Hall. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of Self Enumeration for Census 2027 and to encourage their active participation in the national census initiative. Dr. C. Namashivayam , Sub-Inspectors, Periyanaickenpalayam Police Station, delivered an informative awareness talk on the offences and consequences of drug use. 👮♂️🚫 The session aimed to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of drugs and the importance of staying away from substance abuse.

As part of the “Drug-Free Tamil Nadu” initiative, the students and staff of Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science (Unaided Wing) took a pledge to create a drug-free society on 11 August 2026. 📜 The pledge was taken simultaneously through a live telecast of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu , who led the state-wide pledge. 🎥 Sri K. Sivanandam, Food Safety Officer, Periyanaickenpalayam Block , also participated in the programme and took the pledge along with the students and staff on the college campus.

The "Viveka Begins – 2026" Freshers Orientation Programme was organized by Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science (Unaided Wing), Coimbatore, on 02 July 2026 at the GKD Auditorium to warmly welcome the first-year students. The programme commenced with prayer, followed by a welcome address by Dr. R. Jayaprakash, Principal i/c. Swami Harinathananda introduced the objectives of "Viveka Begins" and encouraged the students to embrace the institution's values. Students also presented vibrant cultural performances including Bharatanatyam, Poetry Reading, Mridangam, Karate, Silambam, Group Dance, Solo Singing and many more.
